Jury's Statement|This film is unique and spectacular in its technique. With figures of metallic materials, composition and images of diverse visual angles, this film leads the audience into a mesmerizing cave, using simple lines to suggest the infinite world beyond the frame. This is a fantastic film that establishes constant reconstruction of movements with the enthusiatic rhythm of jazz.

A Dog Under a Bridge
Rehoo Tang
China|12'51''|2022
A Dog Under a Bridge shows how I view the society, in which I took the shape of a dog to observe people, trying to eliminate the loneliness of living in the city. It ended up that things which seemed normal to human could be much ridiculous in the eyes of a dog.
Jury's Statement|In this film, we get to see the all-encompassing phenomena of the city from a unique perspective, humorous yet bitter. This is the story of a stray dog with considerable insights into human behavior, it wanders in an absurd world, describing the loneliness of men to us in an insouciant manner.
Ice Merchants
João Gonzalvez

Every day, a father and his son jump with a parachute from their vertiginous cold house, attached to a cliff, to go to the village on the ground, far away where they sell the ice they produce daily.
Blumentanz
Raito Low
Taiwan, China, Malaysia|05'20''|2022
Visualize the psychological changes of women in love, let us see the possibility of love, explore and find the love of a lifetime.
Jury's Statement|How to make a music video for an opera? For the majority of the film creators, this is definitely a difficult question. In “Blumentanz”, the audiences are brought into an immersive fairyland filled with wonders and imagination, the plants are soft, yet you can feel the strength within. The vocal of the opera is so rhythmic, like the blooming of flowers with petals spreading open layer upon layer. The aura of this animated music video is artistically exquisite and touching, coping precisely with the opera in its rhythm, narrative and emotion.
Emmen am See
Anja Sidler, Andrea Schneider, Delia Hess
Sweden|04'07''|2021
The association "Emmen am See" imagines a recreation area with a lake in place of the local military area. In this animation we created our own colorful vision of the lake.
Jury's Statement|Where is the ideal resort in everyone’s dream? “Emmen am See“ will guide us there, leisurely and without haste. The film imagines a local military facility being reconstructed into a holiday resort, visualized by collaged postcards, interesting in form and soothing in rhythm. The film tries to discuss a serious matter in a relaxed and humorous way. Although the animated part is limited in proportion, it is imaginative, precisely presented with a romantic and refreshing vibe. With the film’s narrative coping with its presentation, the film brings us surprises and happiness.
Jie Shen
China|22'10''|2022
Irreversible penetrations, repeated collisions, intense touches and adhesions...bring both life and death.
Jury's Statement|With a grotesque story, this film acts as a lucid dream that fully attracts the audiences’ attention for 20 minutes.
Junyi Xiao
China|08'44''|2022
An escaped tomato interrupted Lee's dinner with his colleagues. The dark truth of the Tomato Kitchen along with Lee's hidden past were revealed by this unexpected incident...
Jury's Statement|The character design of the escaped tomato reminds me of the Sci-Fi film “District Nine”.
Absurd story, superb visual and smooth story board contribute to the birth of a fantastic animated work.
Wei Xu
China, Japan|06'50''|2022
One cold and damp morning, two weasels were wandering the quiet streets. They get separated at one point but are reunited. Just then, bells and alarms began to ring through the city, and dawn came.
Jury's Statement|What happens at night in town when everyone's asleep?
With simplified static shots, the director lively depicts the dynamic animal behaviors in the tranquility of the night, before our city wakes up violently.
Špela Čadež
Slovenia, Germany, France|09'34''|2021
The steak has been marinating for a few days now. The pan is heated. Franc's stomach is rumbling. But Liza's co- workers surprise her with a birthday party. Will she be home on time?
Jury's Statement|A horror scene, presented smoothly and delicately, with techniques of expression that oscillates between vague and distinct, all contributing to the destructive beauty of feminism within this film.
Diana Cam Van Nguyen
Czech Republic, Slovakia| 12'46''|2021
A short film about ties and gaps between a child and a parent. The author rediscovers love letters her dad used to write her from prison. That love seems to be gone now. She decides to write back in hope to find the connection again. She puts in writing what could not be said: blaming him for family's break-up but also trying to understand.
Jury's Statement|Mesmerizing visual establishment with animated collage, and a serious discussion about the general issues in Asian families in its narrative.
Love and sorrow, twisted and tangled, corresponding with the layers of paper delicately collaged.
Sujin Moon
Korea|06'45''|2022
The process of being encroached by the persona.
Jury's Statement|A gloomy atmosphere and a minimalist ambient sound set the tone of this film.
This animated film is surreal, yet it makes us experience the psychological discomfort of a young girl vividly. There are certain images in this film can easily get on one's nerves: In order to make herself socially adaptable, the girl slides into a set of skin, wears it on as her camouflage. However, she can’t help herself exposing her disarray and fear when she gets home. This film brings up the question about how much impact does the personal image establishment have over our true selves.
